This is Warren

I'm Warren โ€” the AI engineering partner behind this training portal. I built it so you can learn Kindo at your own pace before the live session. Let me walk you through what's here.

๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "Hi โ€” I'm Warren. I built this training portal for your Kindo onboarding. Over the next few slides, I'll show you what's here, how the program works, and where to start."
Slide 2 of 8

Your Training Portal

This portal is your pre-work. It replaces the 3-hour live platform overview โ€” you watch the videos and explore the modules here, then your live session focuses entirely on hands-on exercises.

What's Inside

  • ๐ŸŽฏ Practitioner Track โ€” For day-to-day Kindo users. Learn to navigate the platform, query your tools through Chat Actions, build Agents, and integrate workflows.
  • โš™๏ธ Technical Track โ€” For engineers and builders. Architecture, API & MCP integrations, security configuration, and advanced scaling.
  • ๐Ÿ“ Hands-on exercises โ€” Every module includes a practical exercise you'll complete during the live session with your team.
  • ๐ŸŽฌ Video walkthroughs โ€” Each module has a video showing the actual Kindo platform in action. Watch these before the live session.

The flow: Complete prerequisites โ†’ Watch module videos โ†’ Come to the live session ready to build. No more sitting through 3 hours of slides.

๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "This portal has everything you need before the live session. Two tracks โ€” Practitioner and Technical โ€” with video walkthroughs, module content, and exercises. The videos replace the old 3-hour platform overview. Watch them on your own time, then show up to the live session ready to get hands-on."

Chat Actions

Chat Actions is how you talk to your entire tool stack through Kindo โ€” natural language queries to Splunk, CrowdStrike, Jira, ServiceNow, and 80+ other integrations. One conversation. No context switching.

  • โšก Query your tools in plain English โ€” "Show me the last 10 critical alerts from CrowdStrike" or "Find open Jira tickets assigned to my team"
  • ๐Ÿ“Ž Upload and analyze โ€” Drop logs, configs, and reports directly into Chat Actions for AI-powered analysis
  • ๐Ÿ” Search everywhere โ€” Library Search, Web Search, and URL Search extend the AI's knowledge beyond your connected tools
  • ๐Ÿ” Governed access โ€” Every integration has admin-controlled policies. Your team decides which tools are available and to whom.

Where you'll learn this: Practitioner Track โ€” Module 2: Chat Actions. The module walks through connecting integrations, writing queries, and building workflows around Chat Actions.

๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "Chat Actions is where most of you will spend your time in Kindo. Instead of switching between Splunk, CrowdStrike, Jira, and ServiceNow, you query all of them from one conversation. Module 2 in the Practitioner Track covers this in detail โ€” connecting tools, writing queries, analyzing results."

Agents

Agents are automated runbooks โ€” your logic, your control. You build the automation, you own it. Four types, each serving a different purpose.

  • โš™๏ธ Workflow Agents โ€” Multi-step orchestration with branching logic and tool calls. Automate your playbooks.
  • ๐Ÿ”” Triggered Agents โ€” Fire on events โ€” alerts, tickets, messages, webhooks. Respond to security events automatically.
  • ๐Ÿ• Scheduled Agents โ€” Run on cadence โ€” daily CVE summaries, weekly compliance checks, shift handoff reports.
  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Chatbot Agents โ€” Conversational agents with knowledge stores and tool access. Build a helpdesk for your team's SOPs.

Where you'll learn this: Practitioner Track โ€” Module 3: Agents. You'll build a working Agent during the live session exercise.

๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "Agents are where Kindo goes from answering questions to doing work. Four types โ€” Workflow, Triggered, Scheduled, and Chatbot. In Module 3, you'll build one from scratch. By the end of the exercise, you'll have a working Agent running your own runbook."

Platform & Governance

Kindo runs in your infrastructure with full data sovereignty. Every message filtered by DLP, every action logged, every user governed by RBAC. This is the enterprise foundation your team builds on.

  • ๐Ÿ  Data sovereignty โ€” Deploy on-prem or in your VPC. No data leaves your environment. Full audit logging on your infrastructure.
  • ๐Ÿ”„ Model agnostic โ€” Claude, GPT, Llama, Mistral, DeepHat โ€” switch models with zero code changes. No vendor lock-in.
  • ๐Ÿ›ก DLP & security controls โ€” PII, credentials, and custom patterns detected and redacted automatically. Per-model, per-user policies.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Admin Command Center โ€” Track every query, every model, every team. Credit usage, policy compliance, adoption metrics.

Where you'll learn this: Technical Track โ€” Modules 1 & 3 cover architecture, deployment models, DLP configuration, and security governance in depth.

๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "For those of you on the Technical Track โ€” this is your territory. Architecture, deployment, DLP configuration, security governance. Modules 1 and 3 in the Technical Track go deep on all of this. You'll understand exactly how Kindo runs inside your infrastructure."

How the Program Works

The training program is designed so you do the learning before you arrive โ€” and the live session is 100% hands-on.

Before the Live Session

  • 1๏ธโƒฃ Complete prerequisites โ€” Provision your Kindo account, read the Getting Started docs, enable Demo Mode, prepare a use case from your daily work.
  • 2๏ธโƒฃ Watch the module videos โ€” Each module has a walkthrough video showing the real Kindo platform. Watch these at your own pace โ€” they replace the old lecture format.
  • 3๏ธโƒฃ Explore the portal โ€” Read through the module content, review the exercise briefs so you know what's coming.

During the Live Session

  • ๐Ÿ›  Hands-on exercises โ€” Work through each module's practical exercise with your team and a facilitator.
  • โ“ Q&A and troubleshooting โ€” Get answers to questions that came up during your pre-work.
  • ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Build something real โ€” By the end, you'll have built a working Chat Actions query and a custom Agent for your use case.
๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "Here's how this works. Step one โ€” complete the prerequisites, get your Kindo account set up. Step two โ€” watch the module videos on this portal. Step three โ€” show up to the live session. That session is all hands-on. No more lectures. You've already watched the videos. Now you build."

Choose Your Track

Both tracks are self-paced and can be completed independently. Pick the one that matches your role โ€” or do both.

Not sure which track? If you'll use Kindo as part of your daily workflow โ€” querying tools, building agents โ€” start with Practitioner. If you'll deploy, configure, or extend the platform โ€” start with Technical.

๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "Two tracks. Practitioner is for day-to-day users โ€” you'll learn Chat Actions, Agents, and workflow integration. Technical is for the engineers who'll deploy and extend the platform โ€” architecture, APIs, security, and scaling. Pick one or do both."

Get Started

Complete the prerequisites below, then pick your track.

  • โœ… Provision your Kindo account โ€” Contact your admin or follow the setup link in your onboarding email
  • โœ… Read What is Kindo? โ€” 5-minute introduction to the platform
  • โœ… Enable Demo Mode โ€” Lets you explore the full platform in a sandbox environment
  • โœ… Prepare a use case โ€” Bring a task from your daily work that you want to automate or accelerate with Kindo
๐ŸŽ™ Warren: "That's the tour. Complete those four prerequisites, choose your track, and start watching the module videos. When you get to the live session, you'll already know the platform โ€” and you'll spend the whole time building. See you there."
